This listing is for a San Diego Charger Nodder. He was made in 1961 and stands nearly 7 inches tall. He’s part of the AFL Toes Up set of nodders, which are my favorite style of all the nodders. There are only 8 different teams in this set but there are tons of variations. This is the hand painted San Diego but I’ve also listed the regular version, which can be seen at the bottom of this ad. So it seems that some Chargers have decals on shirt and base, some have decals on shirt with a painted base and some have hand painted shirt and base. Not sure why, perhaps they didn’t order enough decals? I think I prefer the hand painted vs the decals, but that’s for you do decide. Both of these are mint as well as beautiful but this guy is sweetheart. He’s 100% original, whereas the other on listed has had a smattering of professional restorations done.
