This is a Nixon for President Elephant Nodder. He is from 1960, Nixon vs Kennedy campaign, stands 6 inches tall and can be found in the Non Sport, Political Characters section of your price guide. I’ve found 6 of these, still sealed in their original boxes, wrapped in paper, then sealed with some type of molded straw. I guarantee that this has NEVER been viewed before by anyone, since being made in 1960. Once you see this piece, you’ll understand how I can be so positive of this fact. You WILL be for first to ever view this doll in 66 years, and you’ll have to cut him out of his cocoon to even see what it is. I found that simply fascinating! Nixon and Kennedy were campaigning at the time these were being made. Lol. You’ll also never find a doll that’s shinier and nicer than these are. If you’re looking at a piece of history, check this guy out, there’s only 4 more of these guys and I’m mighty tempted to open another one. I sold one already, let’s see if he opens it or not?
