New York Yankees Color Base Nodder - Original
This listing is for the New York Yankees Nodder. He was made in 1960, is part of the, ever so beautiful, “Color Base” set and stands nearly 7 inches tall. These dolls were one of the very first baseball nodders ever made and one of the most attractive. The set contains the Senators doll, which is a unicorn doll, you simply NEVER see them, the Cincinnati Reds, one of the prettiest dolls ever made, and St. Louis Cardinal, one of the most interesting dolls ever made. For the Cardinals that year, they used the Oriole head and was painted a myriad of colors which is why Eddie, Craig and myself, lovingly refer to her as the “Hooker Doll.” (She’s simply wearing way too much makeup.) Lol. This is the nicest Yankees I’ve ever held in my hands and even though he’s inexpensive, he’s a beautiful doll! I guarantee this doll to be 100% original and in near mint plus condition.
