He was made in 1961, even though the base reads ‘62, stands nearly 7 inches tall, is part of the embossed square base football set and all paper mache. The first made was the square base wood set and the dolls were glued onto a wooden base. The next year they eliminated the wood and made them solid paper mache. His colors are fantastic, ya know I’m not sure that I’ve ever had a Steeler embossed before? He’s really a sharp looking doll! He’s displays well and is completely original with a two small, well hidden hairlines.
