This listing is for an Inky Dinky Ice Skating Nodder. He was already being sold as an Ice Follies souvenir back in 1959, and it is believed that Inky Dinky himself was part of the Follies 5 years prior to his being sold. He stands 6 and one half inches tall, is found in the advertising section of some price guides, and even though he appears to be a mouse, the Ice Follies claim that he is a Bear. And in case you’re wondering, Eddie Shipstad, Roy Shipstad and Oscar Johnson were the 3 original founders of the Ice Follies and their names appear on the front of every single one. He’s a square wooden base nodder and most definitely one the of first nodders in the line of production. The way I see it, he’s a “High Skates” nodder, and all high skates bring at least $500. For that reason, I’ve been buying these guys for as long as I can remember and whenever I find them reasonably priced. As you can see, I’ve got quite a stash of these little guys and this is the first one I’ver ever offered up for sale. I guarantee this “Inky Dinky” nodder to be 100% mint, as well as 100% original.
